As I am writing this post I am sitting in my mom's living room looking out the window and just feeling tired and defeated. I have had the longest day and it's not even over. While I was pregnant my hair was beyond amazing, it felt thick, full, healthy and hardly any of it was falling out. I was truly amazed.

After giving birth, my hair was still looking and feeling amazing, but a few months in, I started loosing hair like there was no tomorrow. I freaked out. When I showered so much hair would fall out that I thought I was going to end up with bald spots, which I had seen other post pregnancy women have that issue.

This has been my best marathon yet. I decided that after I gave birth I was going for the Berlin Marathon. I started training a month after giving birth, which was a bit crazy given that I delivered via c-section and you are supposed to wait 3 months to start training, versus natural birth where you can train practically the next day.

There is something about white shorts that I just adore. Depending on my mood they make me feel so preppy and stylish.

This type of shorts I like specially for the weekends because it can take me from running errands to a nice afternoon BBQ. Today I styled it very basic with a striped blue and white top and my red wedges.

As I write this I am still two weeks away from the Berlin Marathon. Since I started running, four years ago, I decided that I wanted to run the six major marathons (NYC, Boston, Berlin, Chicago, London, Tokyo). By the time this post is published I will have completed two of them

The first one I ran wasn't a major but it was my home country's marathon.
