I think one of the major goals in our lives is trying to be happy, how do we manage to just be happy every day. The struggle is real, very real sometimes. Lately I started reading a book called The Subtle Art of not giving a Fuck, I can’t recommend it enough.

In this book he mentions how hard it can be that pursuit because we are not taught to suffer, suffering is not ok. We must be happy. Here are 4 things that will help you achieve happiness when you are feeling low.

  1. Make a list of all the positive things you have going on in your life, doesn’t matter if big or small.
  2. Reduce the amount of social media. It is not always real, people only show their good side.
  3. Acknowledge how far you’ve come, that you’ve had a crappy moment but it will not dominate your entire day.
  4. Smile more, it can do wonders.
