Many of you, because I run ask me about health, fitness and just over all healthy lifestyle. I am no expert but your constant questions led me to do an online course with Institute of Integrative Nutrition
(IIN) for health coaching. Although being a health coach does not allow me to give you a guide as to what to eat every day, it did give me light as to what to eat to help your body be at its best.

I have been running for almost seven years now and my body truly changed when I made these changes in my food.

The changes were simple but effective. If you wish to loose weight and achieve fat loss, this is what I did. It wasn’t an overnight success though. It takes time, dedication, consistency and over all effort but it has to become a lifestyle you enjoy to make it last.

  1. Cut out all processed sugars. This is a hard one but very much a reality if you want to see progress. Start out little by little until you eliminate it completely. It doesn’t have to be this way forever, just eat it when it really matters, not all day every day.
  2. Workout, do your cardio and functional training to build strength
  3. Drink water, it will keep you hydrated and your skin and metabolism on point.
  4. Eat balanced. This means, a good dose of protein helps build muscle (animal or plant based), good fats keeps your brain working on point and complex carbs like oatmeal that keep you full longer, are high in fiber and give you energy through out your day.

I hope these tips help you achieve the best version of yourself. It is easy if you start making small gradual changes until they become a habit. Make it your lifestyle and you will not have to worry about weight issues again.
