Tommy Hilfiger es conocido por siempre hacer sus presentaciones en lugares increíbles y con decoraciones fuera de este mundo. Este año no fue la excepción. La presentación fue en el Pier 16 al aire libre. Al entrar era como entrar a una feria con stands de cosas para picar, juegos, montañas rusas, todo para que estuvieras entretenido mientras empezaba el show.
Arrancó el show con la fabulosa y protagonista de la noche, Gigi Hadid. La colección presentó looks realmente no muy primavera-verano, era mas bien Otoño-Invierno ya que todo lo que veías en la pasarela estaba listo para ser comprado. Tenia piezas de colecciones anteriores, vintage, y las piezas actuales de la colección con Gigi. Todo el tema era muy náutico con pantalones de talle alto, botines, sombreros de capitán de barco, bufandas y detalles de soga impresas en las camisas. Todo en tonos blanco y azul, con ciertos tonos de rojo que daban realce a las piezas.
Definitivo que Tommy Hilfiger sabe hacer un show y que vivas su colección desde que entras al espacio donde va a presentar hasta el mismo show.

The show was at Pier 16, outdoors. As soon as you walked in Tommy Pier it was like walking into a carnival, selling popcorn, pretzels, fries, tattoos, fun rides and games for all people attending as we waited for the show to begin.
The show was opened by the fabulous and star of the night, Gigi Hadid. The collection was not really Spring/Summer because it was a Fall-Winter collection that you could buy straight off the runway. The collection featured pieces from past shows mixed with pieces from the capsule collection with Gigi. The theme was nautical with rope prints on some pieces, all white and blue with certain pieces in red to give it that pop, high waisted navy pants with gold button details (my fave).
For sure, Tommy knows how to throw a good show, from the venue to the clothes that never disappoints.
